Estimate only — confirm the exact amount on the GST portal or with your CA before payment.
Filing GSTR-3B after the due date attracts a per-day late fee (₹50/day for a normal return, ₹20/day for a NIL return), split equally between CGST and SGST — but the total is capped based on your annual turnover in the previous financial year. Separately, Section 50 of the CGST Act charges 18% per annum interest on any tax that was actually due but paid late, calculated from the due date to the date of payment.
This calculator gives an estimate based on the standard CGST Act provisions and commonly published turnover slabs — always confirm the exact amount on the GST portal or with your Chartered Accountant before payment, since state-specific SGST notifications can occasionally differ.
