ClayBill checks every customer's outstanding balance once a day. If a balance is older than your payment terms (30 days by default, or a custom number of days set on that specific party), it shows up under Receivables at Risk on your dashboard and ClayBill records an in-app notification for it automatically.
Depending on what's configured for your account, an overdue party may also get an email and/or SMS/WhatsApp reminder automatically, sent to whatever email, mobile number, or phone number is saved on their party record. A party with no contact details saved just gets skipped for those channels — the in-app notification still shows up either way.
To avoid repeat notifications for a balance that's still being chased, ClayBill won't remind the same party again for a few days after the last reminder, even if the balance is still open.
